Attention landlords and property managers! The Navy has eligible renters, ready to move in.
Did you know that tens of thousands of Sailors and their families move each summer? While the Navy and our privatized housing partners offer on- and off-base housing throughout the US, we do not have the inventory to house everyone. Approximately 75% of Service members and their families live in community housing.
The Navy Housing Service Center (HSC) at your local Navy installation needs your help to find community housing for Sailors and their families. At no charge to you, you can list your property with the local HSC. You can find your local HSC contact information on our Navy Housing Quick Reference Page: www.cnic.navy.mil/HousingQuickReference.
There are three options for listing your property with the HSC:
- Visit or call your local HSC and speak with a counselor. Some of our HSCs are even outside the military fence line and you can access them during regular business hours.
- Fill out and submit this PDF Property Manager Listing Sheet to the local HSC.
- Use the Housing Quick Reference Page to find your local HSC and navigate to the online Property Manager Listing Sheet using the left menu bar. Each location in the US has an easy-to-complete online web form that is submitted directly to your local HSC.
Whether you have a single house to rent, or you manage multiple apartment complexes, we need your listings. If you already list your property with the Navy, you can contact us or use the listing forms to make updates.
Bonus: In late 2014 the Navy and the other Military Services will be launching a DOD website for Service members to find community housing. If you choose to list your property with us now, they will be automatically included when the new website goes live.
