The HSC is Always in Season
One of the best things about heading into winter is that most Service members and their families are done with PCSing and have begun to settle into their new installations. The memories of long trips, stressed out pets and cranky kids have subsided. Boxes are no longer taking over every corner of your house. The only boxes you have left are the same ones you didn’t unpack after your last PCS.
All around the world, as Navy families are going about their normal lives, the Navy Housing Service Center (HSC) is available to assist with all of your housing needs. Our variety of services span from finding a home and check-in assistance to assisting with issues and concerns about housing.
If you find yourself in a dispute with your landlord, the HSC staff offers Issue Resolution Services. We are available to assist with mediation between you and your landlord, including cases of rent disputes, security deposits and maintenance issues. In addition to issue resolution, the HSC is available to assist you if you believe you have been a victim of illegal housing discrimination.
If you live OCONUS, the HSC offers additional services, including translation services between you and your landlord and utility companies.
Your local HSC is also a great resource for your next PCS. The staff can assist you in the beginning stages of moving to your next location.
